Workshops for These Times - 2026

At Headway our mission is to ensure you are equipped to handle the intangible challenges of being part of the workplace ecosystem. We want you to facilitate a healthy community, and foster a sense of belonging and fairness where employees don’t just survive, they thrive.

We’ve developed three new workshops for 2026 to address the very real challenges facing citizens and companies alike. Reclaiming Self-Care as Resistance, How to Talk to MAGA, and Better Meetings, Better Workplace Culture are our three newest offerings. In just 90 minutes to learn new behaviors and actions to uplevel your communication and cultural competence skills in a way that moves things forward. Register below, or contact us with any questions.

Reclaiming Self-Care as Resistance

You’re invited to join us for Reclaiming Self-Care as Resistance, a workshop crafted specifically for these times. Celeste teaches evidence-based tips for honoring your well-being despite the chaos.

Centered around Audre Lorde’s original definition of self-care, you’ll learn about:

  • Establishing new routines
  • Healthy news-reading habits
  • Social media strategies for well-being
  • Setting boundaries with your phone
  • Techniques for talking about issues that cause anxiety
  • How to relieve feelings of helplessness
  • How to make philanthropy a daily habit

This self-care investment is two hours. The price is $49 per person.  We need a minimum of 4 participants to run each session, so grab an accountability partner and register together.

You may also contact us to develop a custom workshop for you or your team.

Similarly, if you are a leader facing a problem with burnout or seeking to prevent this phenomenon on your team, you may prefer a tailored session to learn how to transition your organization from a culture of exhaustion and overwhelm to that of well-being & engagement. Recognizing that your team will be more productive and more creative when they’re less tired or that they’ll be more focused by creating boundaries around task completion and email isn’t a new idea, but it is challenging to change.

Better Meetings, Better Workplace Culture

Better meetings mean more evenly distributed participation, less interruptions, and credit where credit is due. But they also mean better time management, a more inclusive culture, and less burnout.

Join us for this 90-minute workshop to implement a meeting strategy that will actually improve your workplace culture. You’ll learn how meetings are drivers of culture that exploit our unconscious biases and reinforce unspoken company policy.

We’ll address:

  • How to design efficient, effective meetings
  • How to hold meetings that are timely and efficient, and eliminate unnecessary meetings
  • How to balance who commands presence and who gets silenced
  • How to recognize the ways our unconscious biases play out in meetings
  • How to be the conductor during the meeting and follow-up after the meeting
  • How to manage interruptors and less dominant participants

We need a minimum of 4 participants to run each session. Pro-tip: grab an accountability partner and register together.
